  This is the only place I get a steak and when I say ONLY I mean ONLY! Without a dought the BEST steak you ever put in your mouth.... You need no sauces at all the flavors they us are perfect. The steak will melt in your mouth, not an ounce of fat on it and when i say not an ounce i mean none. I alway get the same thing the old west special 16 oz sirloin cooked medium with baked potato it comes with salad and they bring a loaf of bread they cook themselves. The service is outstanding and the people are great. This is the one place I think is kind of the secret of Salisbury. Because everybody goes to the big name steakhouses and I have tryed them but sorry they don't hold a candle to Old West. So if they want to keep going there that's fine with me it just means I don't have to wait an hour to get the best steak on the eastern shore.

  I have been a loyal customer of Old West Steakhouse since I was a child eating there with my family. The cream of crab soup has always been my favorite among all the eastern shore recipes. In my teenage years i would meet my mother to catch up after not seeing each other for long periods of time and the place became something I cherished close to my heart. I took my wife there on our first date. So far, I've explained just how much I've kept Old West in high regards as I really do..or did. I have recommended the restaurant to countless people over the years, yet I have not done so for about 2 years. Tonight, I will have to say goodbye to Old West for a while as over the years the service has evergrowingly gotten worse. 3/29/17 the cream of crab soup was old, cold, cuagulated, and bowl partially full...no sprinkles of old bay or cheese either. It also hurt my stomach after eating it as an appetizer. As my wife, son and i waited and waited for our food to arrive, i watched other tables that were seated after us get their food first. I love Old West but they have done me wrong too often over the past 2 years. I've been eating there for about 20 plus years but I won't be going back for at least a few years, in hopes that they will get it together.
